Holidays and breaks

Students on a 25-week course or longer can take up to 8 weeks holidays.

Holidays must be arranged at the time of booking or at the beginning of the course prior to registration with the GNIB. Student holidays and breaks must comply with the requirements set out by the Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service (INIS).

Any student who takes holidays without informing the school is at the loss of those weeks and this is reflected in the attendance record.

No unscheduled breaks are permitted except in documented cases of illness or close family bereavement. All such requests are sent to the Director of Studies [email protected]. Requests are dealt with on an individual basis.
